Тема: Чем плоха вода от сваренных овощей?
В "Чарака-самхите", Sutra Sthana, Chapter 27, 316, сказано, что надо сливать воду после варки овощей:
Vegetable spoilt by maggots, wind, sun, or those that are dried, decayed, off-season, cooked without unctuous substances, or eaten without draining off boiled water should be avoided. [316]
То же самое есть в "Сушрута-самхите", Sutra sthana, Chapter XLVI:
Similarly, potherbs (Shakas) well boiled and well squeezed and subsquently cooked with oil or any ohter lardaceous substance are wholesome, while those which are cooked in a different manner should be considered as possessed of contrary virtues.
Выходит, овощной суп не годится. Почему? Чем плоха вода от сваренных овощей?
